We seek an experienced Testing Engineer to join our growing software development team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications that are used by 20K businesses across the globe and improving the e-commerce shopping experience of 50M+ users every day. You will also be responsible for evaluating code changes, identifying bugs, and verifying the functionality of our software products.

- I have at least 2 years of experience
- I am detail oriented with the proficiency to identify mistakes
- I can review and analyze system specifications
- I can create and execute detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases (manual or automated), analyze results and provide comprehensive reports.

This customer-facing technical position requires the specialist to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring exceptional support is provided with a high level of product knowledge and effective communication skills. We're looking for Senior Software Developers passionate about solving tough problems with performant code. This role is based in Pune, and ou will be closely working with the leadership team to design and ship products that are highly impactful.
Requirements for the role:
- 4+ years of experience.
- You've worked on large-scale web applications or software products.
- High English proficiency - both written and spoken.
- A product-minded developer who cares about the "Why" - Why build this feature? How will we measure impact?
- A generalist (or a Full Stack developer), excited by problems, and unblocks anything that stands in the way of success.
- A strong foundation of design, and coding principles to enable scale
- Experience in writing automated tests as part of your development workflow (TDD)
- Strong logical mindset and ability to break problems into simple logical steps
- A passion for efficiency and collaboration, with a history of establishing great relationships and mentoring others in the team
- Bonus point for previous experience working within the e-commerce industry
- More bonus points for experience in Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails, or the desire to learn quickly
