How can you become a Technogiser?
Core Skills:
- A thorough understanding of at least one technology stack is the go-to person for any problems related to this
- Experience: 5 to 8 years
- Should be a polyglot-working on multiple Technologise
- Full stack developer-More inclined towards backend
- Technologies worked on:Java(mandatory), Kotlin or ROR or Go Lang
- Should be able to write the test cases
- Influence technical decision-making and high-level design decisions - choice of frameworks and tech approach
- Demonstrate the ability to understand different approaches for application, and integration and influence decisions by making appropriate trade-offs
Ways of working:
- You communicate effectively with other roles in the project at the team and client levels.
- You drive discussions effectively at the team and client levels. Encourage others to participate.
Going beyond
- Establish credibility within the team as a result of technical and leadership skills
- Mentoring fellow team members within the project team and providing technical guidance to others beyond project boundaries.

What you will do at Technogise:
In a nutshell, you will undertake end-to-end quality analysis, test automation and tech leadership on our projects.
- Analysis - Technogise works on enterprise software development projects and your foremost responsibility would be to analyse the client's business requirements, identify the various possible test scenarios, distinguish automatable scenarios from manual, and QA signoff.
- Automation - You will write automation scripts from scratch. Currently, we are using Selenium Webdriver with Python, Behave and Gherkin. In subsequent projects, the stack might differ. You may also be expected to build automation frameworks in future projects.
- Leadership - You will take the lead in client communication, engaging with them on daily calls as well as onsite visits. You will also define the testing roadmap/test architecture on projects.
The expertise we expect you to have:
- Experience - 5 to 9 years
- Asking questions - Before identifying test scenarios, do you ask enough relevant questions to comprehensively understand the business problem/application you need to QA?
- A keen eye for detail - How detailed are you in identifying test scenarios? Regardless of how simple/complex an application is, are you able to identify positive, negative as well as edge cases from it?
- Writing OO scripts - Writing automation scripts "which work" is not enough. Do you write automation scripts that are modular, object-oriented and robustly designed ?
- Collaborating - Do you like working in close collaboration (pairing) with fellow developers, leads, QAs, and the client in an Agile setup?
- Ownership - Our project teams tend to be small. As a result, each team member gets to own a larger share of responsibilities. Would you be excited by this high level of ownership?
- Stakeholder management - At least QA stakeholder
- Risk and issue identification and management - Related to testing, release and deployment
- Understand CI/CD - with the knowledge to guide at least the test stages in it. Best if you can design and set up on their own
