Ruby on Rails Responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following the best coding practices.

• Design and build high-availability, low-latency, and highly performant-software applications.

• Integrate databases and other data storage solutions with the application.

• Ensure the front-end elements are in sync with the server-side logic and integrate the same with the application.

• Test the written code for errors and bugs and ensure it meets the relevant QA standards.

• Troubleshoot the existing application for better performance.

• Stay updated about the latest developments in RoR and ensure the applications are updated with the same.

Ruby on Rails Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields.

• X years of experience working as a Ruby on Rails Developer.

• Outstanding knowledge of Ruby, RoR framework, and libraries, such as Resque, RSpec, and others.

• Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.

• Thorough knowledge of server-side template languages, such as Liquid and Slim.

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and other database concepts.

• Strong understanding and experience working with MVC and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with automated testing tools and unit tests.

• Proficient in code versioning tools like Git, MVN, or similar tools.

• Outstanding analytical and logical skills.

• Team player with good time-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
