QA Tester Job Brief
We are searching for a QA tester who is essentially dedicated. Moreover, we are looking for someone who is ready to take up the responsibility of designing and implementing test plans. Basically, they have to ensure that the usability of our products has significantly improved. The selected candidate must have efficiency in working with the development team.
However, they need to correct errors, debug codes, and troubleshoot the software code for any significant issues. It is imperative for them to have strong working knowledge regarding software code and testing methodologies. And it’s also imperative that the QA testers are team players.
QA Tester Responsibilities

- Efficiently analyzing test results and further reporting them to the development team.

- Working efficiently with the development team to rectify errors and bugs.

- Executing manual or automated test cases and analyzing results.
- Collaborating with QA engineers to develop effective test plans and strategies.
- Creating logs for documenting test phases and significant defects.
- Evaluating product codes as per specifications.
- Working proficiently with cross-functional teams, ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Providing aid for troubleshooting issues.
- Conducting post-implementation or post-release testing.
QA Tester Requirements

- A QA tester must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or any other related field of study.
- At least two years or more experience as a QA tester or any other similar role.
- Efficient working knowledge of programming languages, test management software, and QA methodologies.
- Must have the proficiency of working well with a team and possess skills of critical thinking.
- Must be familiar with Agile frameworks where regression testing is a plus.
- Remarkable attention to detailing.
- Capable of documenting and troubleshooting errors.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of certain test manager softwares like Zephyr, qTest, and SQL.
- An excellent aptitude for analytical mind and problem-solving.
- Significantly stronger organizational skills.
