MongoDB Developer Responsibilities
As a MongoDB Developer, he/she has to take care of the following task:
- Configure and maintain the MongoDB instances.
- Be clear about the architecture and the documentation of the database setup.
- Write down procedures for disaster and backup recovery.
- Ensure that all the databases achieve maximum availability and performance.
- Must know how to design all the indexing strategies.
- Deploy, monitor, and configure replica sets.
- Upgrade all the databases through the patches.
- Create users and roles and set up their permissions.
- Remove, edit, and create data required by a particular application.
- Make well-informed selections when it comes to technologies and database languages that are compatible.
- Evaluate the network architecture and should also know how to execute diagnostic tests.
- Upgrades all the information security systems for navigation and maximum performance.
- Must know how to document code, conduct peer feedback and code reviews and make progress updates.
- Test out the code for errors and apply all the right fixes.
MongoDB Developer Requirements
- Must have a diploma or a degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
