PHP Programmer Job Brief
We are looking for a PHP Programmer to develop and manage back-end modules for our software applications. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless data exchange between the server and the application with the help of powerful server-side logic.
You will be part of our dynamic software development team and contribute to building excellent software applications from requirement gathering to development, from testing to software deployment phases. As a PHP Programmer, you will troubleshoot the errors, if any, then fix them as soon as possible. Lastly, you will write technical documentation for the back-end modules.

PHP Programmer Responsibilities

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for back-end modules.

Integrate back-end modules with the user-facing elements by collaborating with front-end developers.

Connect developed modules with the databases for storing the required data.

Test the developed modules for any errors and fix them.

Upgrade the application features to enhance the software performance.

Follow best code-writing practices.

Refactor the existing code to improve its structure or design for maintenance purposes.

Prepare the technical documentation of back-end modules and share it with the team.

Communicate with the project manager and other stakeholders to better understand the client's requirements.

Stay updated about the latest developments in the PHP programming industry.
PHP Programmer Requirements

Outstanding knowledge and experience in PHP programming.

Experience working with PHP frameworks like Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, Symfony, and others.

Excellent knowledge of MySQL, SQL, and other databases.

Good understanding of MVC frameworks.

Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Experience working with code versioning tools like Git, TFS, or others.

Familiarity with conducting code analysis.
