"Social Media Marketer Overall Job Purpose: \nThe Social Media Marketer is responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working on key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand among clients & candidates as well as generate relevant leads. \n\nReports to: Varun Umesh, CEO & Founder\n\nKey Duties: \n1.\tSocial Media Community Management \na.\tStreamline company social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram), ensuring uniform content and tone of voice for landing pages, graphics, and other elements within the communities. \nb.\tIncrease the number of followers we have on Twitter by following and engaging with potential clients and candidates.\nc.\tMonitoring and replying to Tweets from candidates and clients – as and when required\nd.\tPosting Tweets on a daily basis (both job- and industry-related), and plan forward-looking Tweets over weekends and holidays\ne.\tPosting updates on the Company LinkedIn account\nf.\tUse LinkedIn polls and surveys to build our social media footprint and reputation. \ng.\tLiaising with staff internally to ensure that their company profiles are accurate and up-to-date. \nh.\tPosting updates on the Company Facebook account\ni.\tBuild Facebook ‘likes’ by approaching potential clients and candidates through other social media channels and email marketing campaigns.\n\n2.\tCoordinating and Distributing Content\na.\tScheduling and coordinating a monthly brainstorming meeting with Founder and key members of staff to establish content ideas for the month ahead, and to plan for a monthly social media calendar.\nb.\tMaintain a monthly social media calendar. \n\n3.\tSEO \na.\tResearch free online directories to generate inbound links for SEO. – at least\nb.\tUsing Google, search for keywords and look at our competitors’ brands for forums and directories that we can sign up to generate inbound links for our company. \n\n4.\tKey Skills Required for the Role: \na.\tExcellent English; \nb.\tProven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long copy. \nc.\tExcellent verbal communications skills.\nd.\tAn interest in marketing, communications, social media or reputation management; \ne.\tFamiliarity with key social media tools (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) and with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel);\nf.\tAn ability to consistently demonstrate our values of insight, hard work, and effectiveness in your personal approach to work; \ng.\tExcellent attention to detail and a high motivation to learn; \nh.\tA proactive, service-focused attitude towards clients and candidates and the teams you support internally; \ni.\tAn ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with quick turnaround times and minimal fuss; and\nj.\tThe ability to work collaboratively with a team."
