RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate product and software solutions
• Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions
• Build and deploy cloud based & cloud native applications
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Develop features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Interacting with the client , understanding their requirements, articulating the requirements. 
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API documentation, and coding standards.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the applications are highly performant.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5-7 Year of experience in React and Web framework.
• Strong knowledge of web/HTTP concepts and methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience in mongodb / or other noSQL databases.
• Accountable, efficient, problem solving, solution oriented and analytical skills.
• Should be able to make decisions, and lead the team if the situation requires.
• Interpersonal relationship skills.
• Good knowledge of data structure and algorithms
• Deep knowledge of programming in any language preferably in JavaScript
• Experience developing web, mobile, cross platform applications is an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of cloud environments, either Azure/ AWS or GCP.
• Strong knowledge and working exposure on Javascript and any of the JavaScript frameworks React.js (great to have) / Angular or Vue.
• Knowledge of microservices/scalable architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Good to have

• Understanding of React Native and advanced knowledge of APIs.
• Exposure to working in agile environment and agile development methodologies.
• Earlier experience with OOPS.
• Knowledge of Unit testing using testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha or Cypress.

Requirements:

• Academics (10th, 12th and Bachelors) > 80%
• Highly proficient in JS (EReactJS, NodexpressJS)
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL/MongoDB is a plus
• Should have expertise in developing data driven, responsive, modern web applications
• Aptitude to continuously learn new languages/concepts. Breadth of knowledge is required

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy and maintain IIoT platform used by the whole of Company
• Roll out similar IoT systems across the globe
• Understanding the functional domain deeply.

Our front-end applications are written in React with TypeScript using Gatsby and Next.js. For our REST and GraphQL APIs we use TypeScript and NodeJS, with PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch behind the scenes.

All of our services are hosted on AWS using Elastic Kubernetes Service. CI/CD is handled by Jenkins, with automated Docker builds and deployments to staging. We use Github and JIRA to help us keep on top of our tasks, manage and host our code.

We have a strong culture for testing. We are individually responsible for our work and are immensely proud of the quality we produce. We try and automate as much of the testing as possible.

We have a learning and development budget for keeping up to date which can be spent on conferences, courses, and even books. We encourage sharing what we learn with the rest of the team and the wider community.

About the Role

• Develop scalable web applications for award-winning consumer-facing financial tools
• Develop quick internal admin tools for analysts to create and maintain critical rule sets around consumer financial data
• Integrate new external APIs from vendors or other teams into platform
• Work with UX and design team to transform wireframes into living products
• Build new REST and/or GraphQL endpoints for representing our data to consumer applications
• Own full development requirements and implementation, release management, QA regression scripts, and deployment to containerized production environments
• Communicate results and impact to business stakeholders

About You

• Experience with Node.js and a UI framework (React a plus)
• Experience with unit, integration and end to end testing tools and practices
• Experience with documenting, creating, and consuming REST APIs (GraphQL a plus)
• Keen eye for detail when translating design and requirements into working code
• Proficiency with security requirements, authentication and authorization layers (OAuth2, Google Sign-in)
• Aware of front-end performance implications and best practices
• Familiarity working in the cloud, especially as it pertains to the front end: (Amazon S3 or Azure Blob, Cloudfront, Cloudflare, Fastly, etc.)
• Familiarity with tag and event tracking libraries (e.g. Segment, Google Analytics)
• Fluent at using Git
• Excellent communication, collaboration and writing skills

Must have:

• Fullstack experience (React, Node JS, VU, Python)
• Expert in web technology (SaaS)
• Know-how of cloud technology
• Broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits
• Experience in release engineering and configuration management
• Comfort with both client-side and server-side development
• Passion for agile
• Knowledge of CICD pipeline
