Design at Rapido is an interdisciplinary group. We value visual design, interaction design, prototyping, and research as equal pillars of the product. Our ideal candidate will combine strengths across disciplines to create a powerful and effective point of view. For this role, Rapido is looking for a highly initiated UI/UX designer who has extensive service design experience and can play a key role in product definition and create elegant design solutions within a fast moving environment. The role will require taking on the responsibility of the lead designer as well as being a doer of it. Success in this role will be in creating a compelling design solution that can be built and scale. As a Senior Designer at Rapido, you get to combine a great visual aesthetic with a deep understanding how to make a complex product feel simple and intuitive. Rapido's products cross mostly digital and few physical interactions so you’ll need to be able to apply your skills to various contexts and mediums. You should have an inspiring portfolio, great design sense, a love for complex problems and the ability to clearly articulate how a product should work both in software and in the physical world. Lastly, you should have passion to create products that people love and that they’ll welcome into their everyday life.
