Job Summary:

Lead Quality Assurance Engineer is required to have hands-on experience in end to end Manual/Automated testing. He/She should be able to write test plans/strategy and should be able to execute it. He/She should be able to write an automation framework from scratch and should be able to write test scripts..

Skill Requirements:

Hands on experience in Manual/Automated testing

Excellent understanding of automated frameworks & techniques

Excellent in development and execution of test scripts

Excellent understanding of Rest/Soap API testing

Good knowledge of accessing and configuring Databases

Experience with automated tools like selenium

Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber/JBehave

Knowledge of web servers like IIS/Tomcat would be plus

Working knowledge in Agile/Scrum environment

Knowledge on performance & security testing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

               

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or field related to the     products being developed are required.   
• More     than 5 years of experience in related field required with     supervisory experience a plus.

Job Description 

The Quality Analyst Engineer, partners with Product, Engineering and Design teams to deliver new features and enhancements for YDV’s new eCommerce platform. This position focuses on providing eCommerce and related technology expertise to design, develop, and support of on-line, customer-facing, eCommerce products. 

The successful candidate will have experience of a strong, hands-on technologist. A person who is comfortable with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is required. Work with other engineers, managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop product features that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Creation of automated test scripts to reduce the amount of time and effort spent on testing.
• Strongly adhere to specification and style guides.
• Ensure the application meets the performance, quality and targets.
• Leverage new and established testing methodologies.
• Translate the given design document into proper Test Cases for maintainability.
• Work hand-in-hand with developers to understand the flow of modules and document it.
• Execution of test cases/test scripts for manual/automation testing.
• Should have working knowledge of SQL server.
• Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Analyze data and results of tests, record defects, provide status.
• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA or similar tools/means.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• Build Deployment on Test Environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience as QA Engineer
• Should have complete knowledge of Testing lifecycle.

• Should have experience with Manual testing, API testing, Sql/mongo, Java, Jenkins, Selenium 

• Performance Testing (CloudTest, JMeter, Web Page Test),

• Should have excellent manual testing skills.
• Good knowledge in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
• Should have good written & communications skills to write the test cases and documentation.
• Good Analytical skill, Proactive, Capability of thinking through a scenario.

What You’ll Do

• Manual and automated testing of the various software components that power our robots, cloud services, and mobile and Web applications.

• “Own” the feature or product you test and be the testing expert for your features and products.

• Gather technical requirements, understand functional specification, participate in software design reviews, and validate that a feature or product meets our customers’ requirements.

• Write test plans, execute test cases, and report bugs.
• Your bug reports should describe, in detail, the conditions under which a bug manifests and how it can be reproduced, the resulting product behavior, and the extent of the bug’s impact on our customers.

• Automate software testing to the extent possible to make it more efficient.

• Reproduce and debug customer issues escalated from the field.


What We’re Looking For 

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in CS/CE/IT/EE/E&TC or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, particularly in Web, mobile, cloud, and embedded systems applications.
• Experience in writing software test plans, executing test cases, and managing the end-to-end bug life cycle.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Java and Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS mobile app testing automation using Appium, and Android and iOS emulators.
• Ability to work well in a team, including remote team members in overseas locations.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse (IDE), TestNG, Maven, Selenium, and JIRA.

• Excellent experience and skill in the development of API test automation suites using Rest Assured

• Good experience of working on Jenkins and other CI-CD tools

Job Description:

Current extensive hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing on Android platform, analyzing requirements, creating test cases/scenarios based on requirements and mapping them through traceability matrix.

-           Strong proficiency in a black box, functional, API, regression, user acceptance, UI, Usability, Cross-Platform testing, and Client & Server Validations

-           Experience in API testing

-           Knowledge of Rest/Soap and Postman.

-           Experience with Defect Management tools like JIRA/Bugzilla and test management tools like Testlink/TestRail.

-           Experience with tools (Moenagage, Branch, Firebase)for tracking in-app event data and analytics

-           Experience in executing basic SQL queries.

-           Knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language(C/C++/Python/Java)

-           2 years of experience in automation testing using Appium and TestNG is a must

-           Hands-on experience in Performance Testing (Jmeter)

-           Hands-on experience in security testing(Burp Suite, Charles).

Requirements: Strong Python language skills, interacting with various Python modules for DB, JSON/XML processing, Excel reporting, etc. Strong Unix shell scripting skills, familiar with C as well as other shells and working on Linux as well as Solaris Very good at SQL, working with Oracle / Sybase and SQL server databases Perl and/or Autosys knowledge is a plus Candidate should have excellent Analytical skills and strong communication skills. Candidate should be motivated, self-driven and be able to work independently on assigned tasks.
