Job description

Experience - 5 to 8 years Location - Pune We are looking for hands-on engineering managers proficient in mobile and web technologies (Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Java, , who can handle projects with 2-10 team members. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of diverse, complex projects, including project planning, execution, scope, quality and cost control. Taking projects from original concept through final implementation. We work with exciting product companies as their extended development team to bring their product idea to life. Interesting product ideas, tighter co-operation with the stakeholders, tighter deadlines and lots of adrenaline while keeping the cost meaningful for customer and maximized for us. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed project plans with defined milestones, including monthly budget requirements and staffing needs/allocation Use your deep technical knowledge to bring the business idea to life. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and that the project scope is controlled. Do the necessary business analysis and communicate the value to the team. Break down complex looking business problems into simpler tasks to the technical team. Plan sprints with the team and deliver week on week. Comfortable communicating well with the stakeholders of the project (customer) and communicating well within the team. Mentor future managers and leaders from within the team. Leading cross functional teams from requirement through deployment. Communication and management of all key stakeholders expectations. Employing sound project management principles and critical thinking. Keeps team and manager informed of progress, issues that impact the achievement of goals. Skills and Experience: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Deep knowledge in at least a few of these technologies: Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Java, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, Android or iOS. Experience in building a few projects right from the scratch. Strong listening and presentation skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively. Deep technical knowledge, preferably across mobile and web. Track record of having managed both the customer and a team on at least 1 project. A penchant to bringing complex looking business problems to life. Proficient with project management tools like Jira, Trello or Pivotal Tracker.
