We are looking for a Technical Writer who can join us within 15 Days or immediately.

Job Location: Permanent WFH

Experience: Min 3+ Years

Responsibilities:
●Write API documentation for API users, such as API reference docs and developer guides. Keep the emphasis on the documentation that is technically accurate and brings clarity to even complex processes.

● Review documents written by developers / PMs for a particular API and suggest changes / seek clarity to externalize the same documents.

● Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code to reduce grounds-up efforts of external developers.

●Develop and use all types of content types (workflows/process schematics / instructional videos/developer consoles) to simplify the user’s understanding of the Open APIs.

●Be the first to respond to developer queries on API forums and put effort to resolve the issue yourself, without needing to check with the core development organization.

● Use your extensive knowledge of the needs of developers and pass this feedback internally to develop the next set of Open API’s.

Requirement

● Bachelor's degree in computer science, technical writing, core sciences or equivalent experience.

● Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in technical documentation, and / or developer outreach / technology partner management roles.

● Experience using Git to manage asynchronous collaboration across large teams

● Experience with authoring documentation in Markdown.

● Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger

● Knowledge of REST APIs.

● Good to have knowledge of tools such as Jekyll, WordPress, Adobe Framemaker, Oxygen XML author, Lucid Chart, and Visio.

● Experience with programming to enable sample code, especially around core web technologies such as Python / Javascript / JSON / HTML

● Demonstrate experience in writing and proofreading of content, especially technology related content.

● Great communication skills and ability to work well with others.

● Ability to organize and create multimedia content to explain use cases and process flows.

● Ability to handle stressful, time critical projects and deliver great user outcomes

Key Accountabilities and Duties

Content Development and Maintenance

• Prepares quality content by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
• Acts as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software and database engineering
• Ensures that all client enablement, both internal and external, are of the highest quality and up to date
• Works with product management and development to understand the value of the features/functionality and document into development documentation or learning materials
• Delivers product training to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate
• Provides guidance and direction to team members to maintain the highest level of quality in our deliverables through review of visual elements, proofreading, and validation during critical stages of development.

Knowledge and Skills

• Commercial experience in a software development environment
• Technical writing/documentation experience in a software development environment
• Familiarly with HTML/CSS
• Basic knowledge of (or desire to learn) energy market industry and familiarity with linear programming and/or systems modeling
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the product team, in-house designers, and engineers at all stages of the
product development process.
• Plan, research, and produce high-quality product documentation including user manuals,
context-sensitive help, how-to guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, website content, etc.required by Amagi customers.
• Create product videos, and blog about specific product features.
• Write structured content clearly and concisely that maximizes comprehension and ease of use.
• Research and define UX terminology for various products.
• Write clear, concise, and thoughtful microcopy that supports the product designs and make the interface interactive and intuitive.
• Ensure that the copy resonates with our audiences, reinforces our credibility, and reaches the targeted audience to achieve desired results.
• Research, analyse, and provide usability feedback to the product team.
• Apply audience insights, user research, and brand strategies to develop engaging content.
• Have knowledge of communication style guidelines, user experience and UX writing impact.
• Raise the bar for interface/product communication and drive alignment on voice and tone
across Amagi products.
• Develop precise and specific customer-focused copies that makes interactions on the Amagi interface simpler, more human, and more real.
• Play an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design.
• Have empathy for users & understand different needs of users.

• Experience in developing product documentation with a strong command of English grammar,a clear writing style, and excellent content organization skills.

• Experience working on tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Robohelp, Intercom, etc.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for creating easy to understand, well-presented and appropriately illustrated
content for the Finxera product technical documentation.
* Responsible for updating all Finxera product related documentation including technical help
documentation related to product APIs and editing existing materials for changes in scope /
content etc.
* Create Finxera Release Notes in a timely fashion for use by customers and employees.
* Organize material and complete writing projects in a clear, concise style and maintain
multiple revisions of product documentation.
* Work closely with Product Management, Development, Customer Support and Internal
customers to review product functional specifications, QA documentation and test product
releases to fully grasp and create product feature documents.
* Excellent technical writing skills and ability to peer review technical documents for grammar,
content and style of writing.

* Adhere to all Company security policies, standards and procedures in the performance of job
