Project Role: C++ Developer

Project Role Description :

The primary focus will be the development of all core engines, designing back-end components, integrating data storage, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers/Third-Party into the application.

Work Experience: 2 - 8 years

Work location: Chennai

Must-Have Skills: C++, OpenCV, Ruby, Boost C++ libraries, MySQL, MQTT. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of C++ frameworks and libraries that utilize openCCTV, FFMPEG, video processing, and analytics.
• Multi-threading programming, Distributed and Parallel computing, Big Data technologies, SQL Server programming with T-SQL, and Microsoft data access technologies.
• Familiar with libraries like OpenCV, FFmpeg, GStreamer, and Directshow.
• Extensive knowledge of RTSP, RTMP, and HLS video streaming protocols.
• Candidate should know about release activities, source control, merging, and branching concepts.
• Ability to analyze and visualize BIG data effectively.
• Machine learning:- KNN, SVM, Text Search.
• Familiar with QGIS.
• A good understanding of Computer Vision and Image Processing concepts and algorithms.
• Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
• Strong background in object-oriented design, prioritizing test ability and re-usability.
• Familiarity with embedded systems design and low-level hardware interactions.
• Proven track record of identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to these problems.
• Hands-on Algorithm development and implementation.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Skills Required : 

• Experience with existing computer vision toolkits such as Open-CV.
• Current trends within Computer Vision and Image Processing in academia and community.
• Deep learning using convolution neural networks for object classification, recognition, or sequence modeling.
• Experience with any of the following: Object detection and target tracking, simultaneous localization and mapping, 3D reconstruction, camera calibration, behavior analysis, automated video surveillance, virtual makeup, and related fields.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Passionate about new technology and innovation.
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review training content and assessments. The review parameters include (but are not limited to) the following:

○ Rewrite the training content wherever necessary to simplify it or to make it more age

appropriate.

○ Create engaging learning activities and provide exercises and activities that enhance

the learning process.

○ Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness

of course.

○ Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional

design.

○ Suggest instructional enhancements to the content and assessments so the learning

experience is superior.

○ Check if all the training assets follow the instructional guidelines.

○ Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs

○ Do a thorough language review.

○ Do a thorough formatting check and fixes.

• Brainstorm with the content developer to storyboard the concepts introduced in a lesson/chapter.
• Create guidelines and templates as and when needed.
• Conduct audits of the live classes to check how the content is getting translated into the actual class experience.
• Give inputs for process improvements.

Skill Set:

1. General:

• In-depth understanding of activity based teaching-learning methods with a strong knowledge of pedagogies to teach 21st Century Skills.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in instructional design and/or content writing.
• Experience in editing documents with an eye for details.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

○ Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the 

organization.

1. Technical:

• Understanding of Object-Oriented concepts.
• Basic understanding of core programming concepts with teaching skills will be an asset.
• Good exposure on-
  • Object-Oriented Programming language(s) (preferably JavaScript/Python)
  • Web Technology (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)- Front End Development
  • Block-Based Coding environment like Code.org or Scratch will be a plus
  • Knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, Airtable, Firebase etc.) will be an added advantage

• Expertise in ServiceNow Administration & Development
• Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow development platform including but not limited to ITSM, CMDB, change management, Problem management, custom development, etc.
• Ability to work on Servicenow enhancement requests in Jira.
• Manages and resolves incidents against ServiceNow applications
• Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
• Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation 
• Leads ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution
• Schedules and verifies instance clones
• Manages Update Set creation and migration
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in ServiceNow configuration and administration.
• Provide Level 2 support on ServiceNow platform for users
• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change Management, workflow management, orchestration, Cloud provisioning, etc.
• Perform core configuration tasks such as Add users, group, create workflow activities, configure alerts and notifications View, perform instance branding and customization, Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of the application
• Experience in Platform Upgrades will be an added advantages
• Knowledge of scripting  ( JAVA ) and APIs would be desired
