Key aspects of this role:

• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.

• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.

To be the right fit, you'll need:

• Minimum 4+ years relevant experience in application development and React JS.

• Knowledge of React hooks such that use Context, use Reducer, use Effect.

• Knowledge of React props and state management (both functional and class component)

• Strong understanding of Error boundary concept of react.

• Work experience with any react based UI library or Redux is preferable

• Experience in building cross-browser layouts with CSS and HTML

• · 3+ years of software engineering experience primarily leveraging ReactJS. · Strong engineering and technical background with demonstrable enterprise development experience using ReactJS and RESTful APIs. · Deep understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 and CSS. · Experience using Redux, Web Workers and PWAs. · Experience with continuous integration and build (CI/CD) process & tools. · Proven ability to quickly understand functional requirements and technical concepts. · Experience with TDD and familiarity with testing frameworks, ideally Cypress, Selenium and PACT. · Exposure to mobile development via React Native an advantage. The team

We’re a multi-disciplinary team of Software Engineers, Devops and UI Engineers on a mission to build a next generation AI platform. The platform is aimed to create a unified base for multiple Enterprise AI products that Noodle creates for the digital supply chain. Our aim is to simplify the workflow for creating, deploying and managing AI applications at scale.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Senior UI Engineer, you will help us design and build end to end workflows for data collection & processing, model training & inference, visualization & monitoring.

You will be on the cutting edge of creating UI and data visualization for AI. You’re comfortable creating complex apps with data visualizations and role based access control. You are proactive about getting the information you need to create the best possible UI. When you encounter open-ended business problems, you’ll help frame the problem and brainstorm different designs or user flows to solve the problem. You write organized and maintainable code. You know when to follow best practices and when to go for the pragmatic solution.

Must Haves

• 4+ years of programming experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
• An extensive portfolio or GitHub account with UI or data visualization projects
• Hands on experience of developing applications using React, at least 2-3 years of experience.
• Intermediate experience with Redux or extensive experience with another JavaScript framework (Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Expertise with modern JavaScript (arrow functions, const, let, etc.)
• Expertise building visualizations with SVG/canvas/HTML in D3
• Comfort with frontend tooling (Babel, Webpack, etc.)

Nice to Haves

• Working knowledge of machine learning concepts and basic statistics

• Backend experience (developing basic RESTful APIs, designing databases, data wrangling)
• Familiarity with unit testing and QA best practices

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Developer must have proven work experience on version control and source code management like GIT, Bitbucket.
