A Full Stack Developer, for an early-stage Analytics startup who can help us translate product specs into a high performing and scalable product across platforms. Also help in improving design/functionality of product. End goal is to achieve product-market objectives  

 

The candidate will have rich learning into what goes into developing, scaling a product from scratch. A chance to grow into a Product Development Owner in medium-long term 

 

Responsibilities  

 

1. Own Product/Module Development closely with Product Owner 

1. Design, implement and maintain product modules/sub-systems. 

1. Perform bug verification, release testing and support for assigned products. 

1. Conduct unit testing and integration testing. 

1. Make sure the delivered product matches the business requirements.

1. Knowledge: Basics of Full Stack Development (Some academic degree/certification or Prior experience/Projects preferred), Data visualization

Our main technologies

We use React and Angular both on the front-end, and Node.js for the backend. Our unit tests use Chai, Mocha, or Jest. We store data using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MariaDB. We love agile and use awesome tools around it. For orchestrating containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines we use Docker and Kubernetes.

 

We use agile tools Clubhouse or PivotalTracker.

Key Responsibilities

Mandatory skills - .Net 4.5/4.8 version, Angular 6+ version, ORM development, API development

What you will do?

-  Develop and deploy high-volume distributed and scalable applications in Java while maintaining the project schedule. This is the primary objective.

- Conceptualize, design, develop, debug, provide effort estimation and risk analysis of a project/feature/service.

-  2+ years of object-oriented programming experience with Java

- Design, implement and deploy high-performance, custom applications at scale. 

- Hands-on with any object-oriented language (Preferably Java)

- In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring.

- Excellent individual contributor who can step up in the shoes of lead if required

- End to end ownership of the module 

- Strong and proven expertise in full-stack development with 2+ years experience in product development. 

- Working knowledge of distributed computing principles

- Practical experience in writing efficient and performant code in java 

- Expert in multi-threading and data structures 

- Working knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies (e.g., code reviews, unit testing/integration testing, design documentation) 

- Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Gradle or build tools will be great

- Working knowledge of MySQL

Educational Qualification

· Knowledge on Angular and Node.Js(Stack) would be beneficial
· Demonstrated proficiency with LAMP architecture (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
· Demonstrated proficiency with scripting – Python/Perl.
· Must be well versed in MVC architecture.
· Hands on experience with MySQL (Indexing, Scaling)
· Good understanding of RESTful API development
