It's a completely radical way of monitoring metrics so that companies don't waste time setting up complex pipelines and monitoring thousands of dashboards. Candidate is expected to fulfill the following requirements:-

• Proficient in python & pytorch. ( Very Imp.)
• Exceptionally proficient in numpy skills . ( Very Imp.)
• Should have clear conceptual understanding of basis statistics and probability distributions.
• Very good understanding of core ML algorithms and methods:
• Linear Regression, Bayesian methods, Decision trees, KNN, Bayesian networks, bagging/boosting, Matrix factorisation, PCA, SVM, Autoencoders, topic modelling.
• Feature selection/extraction, ensembling, bias-variance tradeoff, evaluation metrics.
• Clustering methods s.a. density based clustering, gmm, kmeans.
• Experience working with Deep models. Clear conceptual understanding of training methodologies for Deep Learning. Should be aware of how and why are various preprocessing, training, evaluation methods used.
• Good conceptual understanding of RNN, CNN, attentions methods.
• Preferred to have exposure working w/ Graph algorithms.

• Reading, understanding, implementing and experimenting upon new research papers.
• develop ML solutions for described use cases, revolving around:
• time-series, forecasting, denoising, anomaly detection, correlations, and related ad-hoc things using statistics.
• CV, metric learning, product matching.

What’s the job?

As a Data Scientist (Organic growth) you’ll utilise masses of data and cutting edge technology to maximise the organic growth of our apps.

What you will really be doing 

• Building intelligent systems which generate value from the data which our marketing activities and app store pages produce.
• Leverage data to increase organic traffic and conversions.
• Design and implement AB tests to determine the best features and store elements.
• Utilise statistical testing and predictive modelling to inform changes to app store elements.
• Analyse and manage data from multiple sources
• Coordinate internally with stakeholders to answer questions and produce creative

Skills and Requirements

• A degree in a numerically focussed discipline, such as Maths, Physics, Economics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences or Engineering.
• A record of outstanding problem solving ability in a commercial or academic setting.
• Good knowledge of statistical methods for hypothesis testing involving a variety of experimental designs. 
• A passion for generating value from marketing data

• Experience analysing and managing data with tools such as Excel, SQL and Python

Desirable

• Experience with app store optimisation or search engine optimisation.

Technology stack at Velocity comprises a wide variety of cutting edge technologies like, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, Reactive Programming,, Kubernetes, AWS, NodeJS, Python, ReactJS, Redux (Saga) Redis, Lambda etc. 

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for building data and analytical engineering pipelines with standard ELT patterns, implementing data compaction pipelines, data modelling and overseeing overall data quality

• Work with the Office of the CTO as an active member of our architecture guild

• Writing pipelines to consume the data from multiple sources

• Writing a data transformation layer using DBT to transform millions of data into data warehouses.

• Implement Data warehouse entities with common re-usable data model designs with automation and data quality capabilities

• Identify downstream implications of data loads/migration (e.g., data quality, regulatory)

What To Bring

• 5+ years of software development experience, a startup experience is a plus.

• Past experience of working with Airflow and DBT is preferred

• 5+ years of experience working in any backend programming language. 

• Strong first-hand experience with data pipelines and relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server or MySQL

• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Travis CI, and JIRA) and methodologies (Lean, Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development)

• Experienced with the formulation of ideas; building proof-of-concept (POC) and converting them to production-ready projects

• Experience building and deploying applications on on-premise and AWS or Google Cloud cloud-based infrastructure

• Basic understanding of Kubernetes & docker is a must.

• Experience in data processing (ETL, ELT) and/or cloud-based platforms

• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

Work closely with Product Managers to drive product improvements through data driven decisions.

Conduct analysis to determine new project pilot settings, new features, user behaviour, and in-app behaviour.

Present insights and recommendations to leadership using high quality visualizations and concise messaging.

Own the implementation of data collection and tracking, and co-ordinate with engineering and product team.

Create and maintain dashboards for product and business teams.

Requirements

1+ years’ experience in analytics. Experience as Product analyst will be added advantage.

Technical skills: SQL, Advanced Excel

Good to have: R/Python, Dashboarding experience

Ability to translate structured and unstructured problems into analytical framework

Position Summary

Are you passionate about building computers that can see? We are using AR technologies to build the future of interactive fitness. Our computer vision and ML pipeline converts your body to a game controller. As a computer vision engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and fine-tuning algorithms and deploying them to edge devices, to enable novel human-computer interaction. What’s required of you

• Design, develop and maintain production computer vision systems that are used to enhance Insane.ai’s capabilities for the delight of our users.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with products, operations and other engineering teams to ship advanced computer vision solutions to enable new AR experiences.

What we are looking for

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in computer vision and machine learning projects to solve real-world problems involving vision tasks such as object detection, object tracking, instance segmentation, activity detection, depth estimation, optical flow, multi-view geometry, domain adaptation etc.

• Deep insights into data characteristics and the ability to map those to appropriate model architectures

• Working knowledge of SOTA techniques in CV, ML and Deep Learning in particular

• Strong Python programming skills and understanding of deep learning frameworks and workflows
