Job Requirement

• Expert in SQL, Excel, other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)
• 1-2 years of experience as business analyst
• Hands on experience on BI tools - Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Data Studio, Excel etc
• Self-driven, energetic, lives and breathes data with a problem-solving mindset.
• Should be enthusiastic for travelling on ground, lead teams and execute projects.

Important Note: We are hiring for a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with background as a Developer (preferably Java or .Net). We are looking for a candidate who is expertise in providing business solutions.

Business Analysts conduct market analyses, analyzing both product lines and the overall profitability of the business. In addition, they develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met. Strong technology, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits

Essential Responsibilities:

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Understand the business requirements and documenting and translating into features / user stories.
• Ensure the system design is perfect as per the needs of the customer. Participating in functionality testing and user acceptance testing of the new features.
• Developing business artifacts in relate to the client business and conducting formal training sessions for the team.
• Acting as a coach on assigned projects and assignments; and providing business related direction and clarification to the developers and other project stakeholders.
• Develop a team culture where everyone thinks from end user perspective.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

• Insurance Domain experience is must.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

• Setting KPIs, monitoring key trends, and helping stakeholders by generating insights from the data delivered.

• Get answers to business questions, identify areas of improvement, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Work on ad-hoc requests for data and analysis.
• Work with Cross functional Teams as when required to automate reports and create informative dashboards based on problem statements.

• 1-2 years of experience working in Analytics as a Business or Data Analyst.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure & AWS PySpark, Python, Data Bricks, Metabase, Understanding of APIs, data warehouse and ETL etc.
• Proficient in writing Complex Queries in SQL.
• Experience in Performing hands-on analysis on data and across multiple datasets and databases primarily using Excel, Google Sheets and R.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams proactively.

• You are involved in identifying complex fuzzy problems, break them down into smaller parts and implement creative, data-driven solutions.
• You are responsible for defining, analysing and communicating key metrics and business trends to the management teams. Prepare and deliver business reviews to the management team regarding progress and roadblocks
• Your role involves partnering with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs. Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.

• Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline from a reputed institute or an MBA from a reputed institute.
