BACKGROUND“Sustainable development is the pathway to the future we want for all. The even bigger problem is that this data is collected with a time lag. In India, the Census is conducted once in 10 years and the National Family Health Survey once in four years. The first goal of Vision 2030 is to end poverty. But how can we know how India is doing if the next time we measure it is in 2021, and then again in 2031? At SocialCops, we tackled this problem head on. By working closely with the different global UN teams, SocialCops has been pioneering efforts to help countries track their progress towards SDGs using data intelligence.
