Responsibilities: • Should have excellent leadership skills and mentoring skills. • Should have a deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up. • Should have a deep understanding & expertise with highly transactional, large relational and complex systems. • Should have spent at-least 2 years at a start-up or worked in a small and reasonably independent team/development centre. • Will interact with senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, cross-verticals, and/or customers. • Will regularly meet with product stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features. • Will oversee execution of multiple parallel projects. • Will make sure agile best practices are applied to software development lifecycle; contribute to improvement of BookMyShow software development practices. • Will drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities. • Will undertake performance tracking analysis and reporting on every project delivery. • Should have understanding of infra(on premise & cloud) and deployment procedures. Skills: • Knowledge of web and mobile applications • 4+ years of experience on horizontally scalable, multi-tenant web applications • 10+ years of experience in systems and programming, technical support or implementation in either applications, technical services or e-commerce domain • Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs • Strong verbal, presentation and written communications skills for technical audiences. • Deep understanding & expertise with highly transactional, large relational and complex systems • Should have participated in, and be familiar with Agile project methodologies • Good interpersonal, problem solving, reasoning and analytical skills
