Responsibilities:
● Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely
and meaningful feedback
● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
● Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
● Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
● Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
● Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
● Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system
requirements
● Monitor debugging process results
● Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
● Prepare and keep updating documentation such as
o Test Artifacts ( Test plans, Test cases etc)
o Release & test planning
o Testing related guidelines
o Test reporting

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
● Atleast 1 years of experience in Product QA, Web plus Mobile Testing
● Experience & knowledge of tools like JIRA, Postman
● Understanding the Product Development life-cycle and the customer requirements
● Problem solving, detail-orientation and basic communication skills
● Agile mindset with the capacity to iterate quickly, test things with a lean approach

Educational Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
● Additional business degree/Certification in Agile or Scrum preferred

• Take complete ownership of the web application and API back end development
• Finalize User Stories, Tasks, Sprints etc. on JIRA based on the product roadmap
• Estimating delivery timelines and execution of relevant tasks with the team
• As individual contributor, writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
• Mentoring junior members of the development team
• Design and develop effective APIs for mobile apps
• Maintain and develop unit and integration tests (rails mini-tests)
• Co-ordinate web application releases with the DevOps team
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

 

SKILLS

Must have:

• Proven experience as a ROR Developer (individual contributor).
• Experience developing scalable web applications
• Sense of ownership about the product.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience of leading a tech team

 

Nice to have:

• 2+ years of experience with front-end frameworks such as - React.js, Angular.js, Vue.js
• Experience with more than one web application stack (e.g. .net, Java, Django etc.).

 

Qualifications:

MCS, B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering

• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Must have 2 years of experience in ROR.
• Must have 2 years of experience in reactJS.
• Must have 2 years of experience in angularJS
• Should have worked on at least one Javascript framework - React.js, Angular.js, knockout.js etc.
• Ability to complete an assigned task without external help and hand-holding
• Aspire to become better at coding, grow with the company.

• The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once.

 

Required Experience:
