DailyRounds is a healthcare startup focused on organizing “Knowledge of practice of Medicine” and building a community of Doctors (and healthcare professionals). We hold the largest IP (intellectual property) in clinical medicine in India. We hope to put this IP, network, and our best efforts to help Doctors improve how they diagnose and treat. What would you be doing here?

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE - II ) at DailyRounds/Marrow, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing products that are used by 500,000+ doctors and healthcare professionals. You will be working on an offline-first app, strongly architected with a bigger database that requires you to provide complex logical solutions. You will also be working on apps with high usage time where you will be applying your non-functional thoughts to help maintain or increase the session time.

• Work with the Engineering and Product team to build a scalable product while solving some of the core healthcare problems.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code for backend systems.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Will have exceptional learning opportunities.
• Will be given a chance to own a product or a piece of technology.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with Python technologies.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and experience working with API frameworks (Flask, Django, or FastApi).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in database concepts, ensuring efficient data management.
• Preferred experience with MongoDB.
• Passionate about application security, scalability, and stability

What will you be doing here?

• Understand the requirements and scope of the project(s) to lead project management/ execution activities right from initiation to closure

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience working in a market research setting catering to Life Science clients – pharma and/ or medical device sector. Prior experience in market research agencies/ organizations or into management consulting, will be appreciated.
• Experience in execution of projects (preferable globally) in multiple markets
• Experience of working in multiple segments will be appreciated – B2C, B2B, healthcare
• Familiarity with quantitative as well as qualitative research methods and survey design
• Proficiency in using Survey and Interview platforms
• Familiarity in data collection, analysis and report writing methods/ tools
• Contributions or involvement in previous quantitative/ qualitative research projects

Skills Required:

• Educational background: B Pharm/ B Pharma-Tech / MBA (prefer specialization in pharma) from a tier-1 college
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in conducting qualitative and/ or quantitative research within the market research context
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to assist in client management
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and the ability to think analytically
• Understanding of research ethics and data protection regulations
• Basic knowledge of primary market research methods, with a willingness to learn and grow in the field

• 2.5 - 3.5 years of experience in iOS App development with Swift.
• Solid understanding of the fundamentals of Swift, Protocol-Oriented-Programming.
• Proficiency in UIKit / SwiftUI frameworks, and AVFoundation is a bonus.
• Experience with Networking, Multi-threading, Databases, and Scalable User Interfaces.
• Experience with architectural and design patterns, MVVM is a must.
• Able to deep-dive into the code, figure out the dependencies, and write scalable, future-proof code.

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.

• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
